From new models to existing vehicles.
Like any good party, getting to this point takes time. Starting in July 2024, all new models must be equipped with this system. Time flies, and 2026 is fast approaching. Then it will be the turn of all existing vehicle models to incorporate the ADDW system.
Whether you’re driving a brand-new car fresh from the dealership or an older model, the ADDW system becomes as natural as wearing a seatbelt. It takes a little getting used to at first, but then it becomes second nature.
ADDW system activation at high speeds.
This system works well at high speeds, but not excessively. It activates automatically when driving above 20 km/h. Some manufacturers choose to activate it at lower speeds. One minute after starting the car, the system is ready to help you drive safely.
